How Turp Is Performed

What Is The Most Common Approach
A technique called transurethral resection of the prostate is considered to be the standard surgical approach. The resectoscope is equipped with a tiny camera and an electrical loop that is used to mechanically remove prostate tissue. There is no evidence that BPH increases the risk of developing prostate cancer. However, the symptoms of BPH and prostate cancer are similar.
